Exploring Bing AI Chat for cost-saving and lazy reasons

Conversation style on Bing Chat

I needed a profile logo for this site- so after switchhing to the “Creative” conversation style, I proceeded to ask for

“a minimalist logo in Wes Anderson style”

Bing gave me quite the choice.

In a past life- I’d would’ve gone for it. However this seems like I’m trying to sell dubious new-age herbal remedies.

With a new blog site I’m compelled to showcase a profile logo that reflects me, and mine. This needs to be of colours and cameras, and not forgetting my (Mild) obsession of cats….so i followed up

“a minimalist logo in wes anderson style with a rangefinder camera, cold color with warm accents in complementary colors, and Malaya-esque motives in background”

Second go is so much closer, and I really like the bottom right one.

Not convinced that Dall-E (the engine behind this with Bing) knows what Malaya is, i rolled it back with another go:

Top right looks good, not convinced by bottom left (what sort of spelling is Bing attempting?!)

That’s more like it! now one last try…

Its now only gone too far….

so in the end I settled for the one that is more abstract.

I like the warmth it shows, the camera ideally should be mirrored as no dials would be on the right side. Particularly like the paddy/wheat like motives on the top, it could come to symbolise something for me. Alas no cats, but I can always improve it next time.

This certainly saves me from using Fiverr to get a pro to do it, and quicker too.

Lastly, Of note is how Microsoft pushes not just AI to make Bing an interesting tool, with Bing Chat (the AI bit) only available if you use their Edge browser means they have smartly incentivised the market - expect to see Edge usage rate to increase, at least until google figures out their offering.
